This is the Public Domain is an ongoing effort to create a permanent shared international commons, free to all in perpetuity, on 2.64 acres of land near Mojave, CA.

The project to date has involved the purchase of land and research into legal strategies by which to hand over all rights associated with ownership to the global public. Mineral rights will also be acquired before the land is handed over.
